On July 15, 2016 the Oblate Advisory Board met to continue working on Future Planning for the Oblate Program as part of the Strategic Planning the Sisters are doing.
The basic initiative we are working on is strengthening and deepening the Oblates’ relationship with the monastery, with the Sisters, and with one another in the Oblate community.
We also continued work on plans for the annual Oblate Day on Saturday, October 22, 2016.

Amy, what a great understanding of Benedict’s Rule you have. I know that this has come about only through what some would call “lectio on life.” May you continue to hold fast to the ideal of community as you, along with many others, struggle in the midst of today’s world with its complexities of challenges.
